Almost.........done

20 more papers to grade and I'll officially be done which means i can devote more time to research and getting the dissertation to move forward instead of standing still. Thank goodness I decided to drive to Nashville instead of fly. Flying means that I actually have to pack somewhat smart and now I can can just throw everything into the car and I will be off! I am actually taking my laundry home with me this break (don't laugh). I hardly had time to wash clothes...don't worry everything was clean/semi clean when you saw me this semester. I just might have worn that sweatshirt to bed or after working out, but I'm sure it was ok. Actually anyone that works out with me knows that is not ok! :) Myonly miss from bloomington will be the gym...I love the gym here and I think its wonderful, so that will be missed, but other than that its time to visit the family and friends.....yay!

Oh yea...of course I'll miss my friends from btown...you guys are the best and we have a blast but seriously we see each other all the time. We can take a mini break, I promise. You can still text me insane amounts of messages.

Almost end of the semester!

Less than two weeks and I will be in the car driving to Tennessee. I am beyond excited. This semester has been incredibly busy and somewhat hellish! I am finally almost done with my last requirement of teaching and then on to a doctoral candidate! Took me long enough...but I am finally getting there. I will be taking a 2, maybe more week break from Bloomington. I didn't have a break for Thanksgiving, well I had that day off but had to drive and then turn around and drive back from Ohio. So I am beyond excited for this break. And of course, the break is already packed from seeing friends to running errands around Nashville to seeing more friends, crazy! My second week will be spent at Cornell again! It will involve a lot of work, but I am really excited about it and I think it will be a productive week.

The next exciting thing is that I only have one more semester of classes. My mom likes to remind me that I have been taking college courses for 8 years. Yes, I know mom. This is entirely too long and I am frankly so sick of taking courses. But I only have three more for that darn masters in statistics which is proving harder than my doctorate courses. Can't wait...sick of classes, sick of homework, sick of finals (yes-finals). The good thing I don't have to teach or be a ta next semester-thank you CISAB!

Other than that, I am behind in everything else that is not related to teaching or taking statistic classes right now. I apologize and I know I have had a least four baby announcements and that I am behind in getting gifts, etc. So I hope everyone is doing well and that you had a great Thanksgiving. If you are going to be in the Nashville area in December please let me know. My sister and I will probably be stuffing our faces with good food and working out...oh and shopping. Come join us-it will be fun for all. Oh and you might be dragged to some holiday party with the family since apparently that is what you do in Nashville. Although the last time I went home, it was funny because no one knows who I am. When they find out that I am the oldest chil, they always say something like "Oh Susan (my mom) I can't believe your daughter is 25, you look so young"....and my favorite part is when they ask what I do. "I'm still in school, I can't graduate."
